What is Coaching

  • Professional guidance and support in a work-related context
  • Reflection of own work reality, promoting self-reflection and self-awareness

  • Help for helping oneself; support of effective self-control in regard to objectives, planning and organisation, including the self-control concerning the achievement of objectives.

What Coaching is not

  • Coaching is not psychotherapy.
    It does not analyse a person, but deals with the working world of a person or a team in a solution focused manner.
  • It does not provide recipes for problems and their solutions. The customer (who may also be a working team) is responsible for the topics, issues and problems which are brought up, and also for their solutions. The coach supports the search for adequate solutions.
